Mr and Mrs Bain,

Westbury Park, Bristol

Mr and Mrs Bain of Westbury Park have a beautiful house and wanted a kitchen to reflect it, but didn't want to pay the price of many local kitchen studios. Which is where we came in: We designed a new scheme (using the existing cabinets and a couple of new ones) with painted timber shaker doors combined with stunning granite worktops and two under mounted sinks. What truly set the kitchen off, were the single plank American red oak timber shelves with inset LED lights and of course the tiles from fired earth.

We stripped the floor, re-wired the kitchen, moved pipes, plastered the walls and had a surprise with the fireplace as the 'concrete' to stand the new range cooker on was only 5mm thick, so we spent a Sunday digging this out and concreting it properly. We supplied the Rangemaster Cooker, and two integrated fridges, adapted an existing cabinet to house the microwave and thoroughly cleaned up and took our waste away too (including the floor protection to the hall floor).
